This RACI template is designed as a comprehensive planning tool for assigning RACI roles to individual teams & team members vis-a-vis each project task. Once you have listed up your tasks vertically and the names of your teams and individual team members horizontally, you will then ascertain their level of involvement vis-a-vis each project deliverable (unlike other templates in our RACI series, in this template, we do not break down tasks by phase).
You can assign roles using our built-in color-coded system based on the letters R, A, C, or I. Each color denotes a different level of task ownership: Responsible (Pink), Accountable (Brown), Consulted (Yellow), and Informed (Green). To update your activities at the task level so you can track progress over time, use our customizable drop-down menus to identify the status of each task once your project gets moving: Not Started, In Progress, Complete, Need Review, Approved, Overdue, and On Hold. However, we have added a separate configuration sheet in case you want to use different categories than the ones we have used to suit your own project needs & requirements.
