This RACI template is ideal if you just want to focus on the roles & responsibilities of one stakeholder; this could be an individual team member or a specific team. Unlike most other templates in our RACI series, where we map out both tasks and stakeholders against each other – here, we don’t take stock of all the individuals or teams working on your task list, instead choosing to focus on how one individual stakeholder is related to and contributing to each project task.
This allows you to create more personalized work plans & guidelines for individual team members (or teams) while also allowing project managers to easily keep track of whether a specific stakeholder is responsible for doing the work, calling the shots, giving their opinion, or simply staying in the loop for a given task. In this template, the four RACI roles are represented horizontally using four different colors: Responsible (Blue), Accountable (Green), Consulted (Yellow), and Informed (Red). The use of vibrant colors makes it easier for you to visualize what role someone is playing vis-a-vis each task with just a quick look.
