Use this template to assign RACI roles to smaller units of your project team working on specific tasks, allowing you to visualize each individual team’s role at the task level and ensure all tasks have been assigned to the correct team.
This RACI Matric template assigns roles & responsibilities for your action plan at the team level. Once you have listed your project deliverables (or tasks) vertically, and the names of teams horizontally, you end up with a grid structure where you can use our built-in color-coded system to identify and assign the role of each team vis-a-vis each task: Responsible, Accountable, Consulted and Informed.
For those unfamiliar with the RACI framework, this template comes with a concise RACI User Guide that defines each task ownership level. Note that in other templates in our RACI Matrix series, we assign responsibility levels to individual team members instead of a team as done in this one. This particular feature allows you to effectively formulate and compare work plans for different teams as well as monitor the work of team leaders once your project gets off the ground.
