This offensive rotation planner covers two different formations, 6-2 no libero and 5-1 no libero. Both formations in the template follow the portrait-oriented layout and structure. It represents 6 rotations as rows down the page, and each rotation contains 5 columns:

  • Home (starting lineup position)
  • Serve (positioning when serving)
  • Serve Receive (first serve receive formation)
  • Serve Receive (second serve receive formation)
  • Base (default position after serve or serve receive)

These columns use a court diagram and color-coded player labels, which makes it quick to read at a glance. After each rotation, the players’ positions change in a clockwise direction.

The 6-2 No Libero sheet labels players as RS1, RS2, MB1, MB2, OH1, OH2, S1, S2. In this sheet, two-setters confirm the 6-2 system. Since this is a no libero formation, the middle blocker stays in the back row instead of being substituted out.

The 5-1 No Libero sheet uses player labels such as RS, MB1, MB2, OH1, OH2, and S. It has a single setter system without Libero substitution, which confirms a 5-1 formation.

This sheet is a 2-in-1 solution if you want an offensive rotation planner with both formations. It’s also useful for teams that do not use a libero or are practicing without one.
