This Gantt chart is utilized for project management while visually representing tasks in a timeline and showing their dependencies using agile methodologies. It is called agile due to its flexibility, repetition, and accommodating the changing nature of projects. It can be helpful for project managers, team members, and stakeholders. It provides you with task constraints such as task start, end date, and duration.

This free template eases your project management and organization, by providing visual bars on a timeline, allowing you to highlight the milestones and deadlines for each task. Sprints are provided, which ensures work breakdown structure by dividing into multiple easily manageable features.

An eight-week calendar is provided to help you visualize progress, duration, and status of features. The milestones can be visualized, in the timeline using the red diamond symbol and the completed tasks with a flag symbol. In general, this template allows you to keep track of your tasks and the resources allocated, such as assignees to the tasks.

This template is a professionally designed tool for easily managing your complex projects. Sections for project title and company name, including task’s start and end dates are present in the beginning. As you enter the task constraints (task start and end dates), the calendar updates to display per start date. The left vertical part of this template portrays the particulars of the tasks.

On the contrary, the right horizontal part visualizes the task constraints and their progress using bars. Another section below this part visualizes the task’s dependencies.

The main sections of this template are:

  • The projects are divided into sprints/phases, and these sprints are split into multiple features. Each feature has its own allocated resources and task constraints.
  • For each feature; task particulars, including task ID, name, and task constraints, can be added in their respective fields. By entering the task constraints, their duration is instantly written in days and visually represented in the timeline. Moreover, with the timeline, you can ensure resource leveling by adjusting task scheduling to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • The risk of each feature can be updated, as high, low, or medium. Similarly, task assignees can also be updated in respective sections.
  • Moreover, story points for each task can be written per the complexity and scope of the task and the methodologies used to complete tasks, such as Scrum or Kanban. It provides flexibility in allocating time to each task compared to fixed time, offering coverage for uncertainties and modifications in work.
  • The progress of each task can be updated separately. As updated, a progress bar is simultaneously created in the timeline, its position indicating task constraints in the timeline, and its length portrays the duration of tasks. Similarly, the progress is also displayed inside the progress bar.
  • An eight-week calendar is provided with days and dates that visually represent the progress, duration, and status of tasks.
  • Furthermore, the status section has a drop-down list, allowing you to choose the status of each task as completed, in progress, on hold, or milestone. It also allows you to add comments for specific tasks.
  • A section has been dedicated to visualizing the dependencies of tasks. On its top, dates are written, and on the left side, names of sprints and features are provided. If any task is dependent on another, you can show it in this section. Here, each sprint is represented with a horizontal line, while its features are represented with shorter lines below the sprint line. A specific color is dedicated to each sprint and its features. You can use arrows to denote the dependencies of tasks.
  • A configuration sheet is provided to enlist the details of task status and their risk priority.

This template is user-friendly with drop-down lists, clear labels, and an intuitive layout that makes it easily customizable with fillable sections.
