How to Play (Classic Yahtzee Rules)

When you’re done rolling, choose a scoring category that’s still open on your sheet and write down your points.
The scoring is split into two sections:
- Upper Section: Here you add up the total of dice that match your chosen number. Roll three 4s? That’s 12 points in “Fours.”
- Lower Section: This is where special combos come in: Three of a Kind, Four of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Yahtzee (all five dice the same), or Chance (any total you like).
Bonus points:
- Score 63 or more in the Upper Section and you’ll get a 35-point bonus.
- Roll another Yahtzee after your first one and you’ll snag 100 bonus points each time.
Once all 13 categories are filled, the game ends and the highest total wins.
