This free attendance sheet template is designed for daycare providers who want to track and overview monthly attendance.
The template records attendance over a month of each child’s daily presence. It has a monthly grid layout, with days of the week (Monday to Sunday) repeated for each week of the month.
At the top of the sheet, there are fields for “Daycare Name” and “Room” to specify the facility and the specific area or class.
Fields for “Month,” “Start Date,” and “End Date” are included to define the period the sheet covers. Once you enter the start date and set the month, the template will auto-update the calendar on the attendance sheet.
The main part of the sheet lists each child by “Sr No” (serial number) and “Name,” so attendance is individually tracked. For each day, there are columns divided by the day of the week (M for Monday, T for Tuesday, etc.), with “IN” and “OUT” sections to note attendance status to note both arrival and departure times or full-day presence or absence.
The template is good and can be customized to fit your daycare’s needs. You can adjust the columns and rows to accommodate the number of children you track and add new fields for additional information, like contact numbers. The template is designed in Excel and Google Sheets for automation and in Microsoft Word for easy printable sheets. It is also available in ODT and PDF format.
