A daily call log is a logbook to record call interactions during a business day. This daily call log template has been designed to help you easily track all calls, assign them to different groups, departments, and action items, and manage information throughout the day. 

Whenever you make or receive a call, you can note down important details such as the name, date, and contact information of the client in the main sheet. Not only this, but you can also record the outcome of the call in the Action Items field, which contains drop-down menus whether you have sent an email, scheduled a meeting, etc., and you can quickly select the option provided there.

For the Lead Status field, you can find options in the drop-down menus as well. The field for Call Answered has a dropdown menu selection as well to quickly select options.

These dropdown menu options can be modified according to your business needs in the linked Config sheet.  You can add more options or modify the existing ones. Once you update the options here, they will be reflected in the options in the main call log sheet. Since all businesses have different requirements, these configurable options make this template useful across versatile industries. 

The Notes field helps you write down any observations, remarks, or information related to the call that could not be added to the existing fields. 

There are dynamic graphs provided at the top of the template as well to provide a visual summary of the key metrics recorded. It shows key data points as Call Answered and the Lead Status. Each item is defined by a unique color for a quick summary of the metrics.

Yes, simply copy the existing rows and columns in the Daily Call Log sheet to extend the table. You must confirm that the new rows have the same formatting and data validation as the original ones.

How can I add more call statuses to the log?

Navigate to the Config sheet, and under the “CALL ANSWERED (Y/N)” column, add your new statuses. For example, if you want to include a status like “Left voicemail,” you can add it as a new entry in the list.
