Once you mark “✅” in the template’s done column, the chart instantly updates to show the percentage of the work completed. The dark blue area represents how much of the work is done, while the light blue area shows the remaining work.
How to Use the Action Items Tracker Template

Configuration sheet

The configuration sheet is basically a control center for the template, where you can change predefined rules and lists according to your project needs. In its default setting, there are three components: Assignee (team members responsible for tasks), Department (functional area e.g., finance, marketing, and IT), and Priority Level (ranging from high, medium, and low).
Fill out the header section
Start by filling in the project specifics given in the header section, such as project name, project owner, project ID, team name, last updated, and next meeting. It will set a clear direction for the project details.
PRO TIP: Assign a short, unique Project ID. If the project is a sub-segment of any other project, you can write the parent project’s ID followed by a suffix (e.g., CRM-01-A)
Enter details in the tracker table
Now, come to the main table. Enter action items and assign an action ID to each task. Afterward, choose the right department and assignee name for a particular action item.
Set the deadlines
Input the due dates for each task so that you can identify which task should be completed in what timeline.
Mark priority levels
