Specify the exact amount the buyer is paying for the cart.
Make it a point to fill this in thoroughly before you sign, so as not to leave space for anyone to alter the selling price. When you are filing taxes, this information will be used to prove the paid purchase price.
Go on to specify your preferred mode of payment, such as cash, check, electronic fund transfer, or a debit card.
In case of non-monetary payments, for example, if a seller gifted or traded the golf cart to the buyer, you can use this alternate version of the template.

- VIN: A 17-digit identifier. Not all golf carts have a VIN, but some may, for example, if the golf cart is street-legal or registered as a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV).
- Serial No.: Manufacturer’s serial number, often found on the frame or engine.

Warranties & disclaimers
From a legal liability point of view, this section (V) is crucial as it clarifies the rights & responsibilities of both parties.
If you select V(a), it means the cart is being sold without a warranty (‘as-is transaction’). In as-is sales, the seller carries no legal responsibility to fix or repair the cart after the sale.
If a seller is ready to offer a warranty on the cart, check the second option (V(b)), further stating how long in years the warranty is for.
Supporting material
Use this section to enlist all necessary supporting documents. Diligently name and label each one to avoid mix-ups. Remember, the right documentation enhances trust, protects all involved, and provides legal assurance.
