What Is Notarization?

In some US States, a bill of sale must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public to be legally valid. Even in cases where notarization is not required by law, you are still advised to notarize your Bill of Sale, as it adds an extra layer of legal security, making the document harder to dispute in official proceedings.
